For our first launch we're inviting six other schools across California for founders to pitch their companies to venture investors, operators, attorneys, and members of the broader innovation ecosystem. We want founders building in Highly Regulated spaces or High IP Spaces. Examples: Energy, Healthcare/Biotech, Fintech/Cybersecurity, Robotics, Semiconductors, AI.
If you aren't building in these but have a unique right to win, apply.
The premier stage for differentiated tech founders in California.
Stanford Law Demo Day is an inaugural event organized by the Stanford Law Startup Club, connecting deep-tech and regulated-industry founders from seven California universities with the Bay Area venture ecosystem.
We're partnering with the Stanford Business School Energy, Healthcare, and Fintech clubs, Stanford ASES, as well as PhD organizations on campus, to source and support the strongest technical founders across California.
Selected founders present their companies at Stanford Law School before an audience of venture investors, operators, attorneys, and members of the broader innovation ecosystem with experience in deep-tech and regulated industries.
We watched friends build companies in regulated spaces with real legal complexity. We got to connect them to a great law school for support. Stanford Law's first Demo Day exists to give more founders that same access.

Four reasons to apply, regardless of outcome.

Applying puts you on the Stanford Law Startup Club email list. You'll receive free legal resources sent directly to founders, plus notifications for legal events where practicing attorneys offer expert counsel, free of charge.
Invitations to founder-only events featuring practicing attorneys in IP strategy, regulatory pathways, and term sheet negotiation. Free expert legal counsel dedicated to founders.
Selected founders pitch on-stage at Stanford Law School to Bay Area venture investors who actively deploy into deep tech and regulated industries and to investors who understand your business model and your moat.
